I pulled the carpet and side panels to clean in preparation for a drawer system and found a few pieces that were rusted/oxidized. Seemed out of place considering the rest of the area is clean. Any ideas?

I had a very similar mystery rust pattern. While you have the interior taken apart, run a hose on your rear quarter panel window. I bet you'll have a leak where I did - the trim piece below the quarter window. A little silicon on the pegs where it joins the sheet metal will fix it. Btw, that's a bracket that holds your rear AC "amplifier", and is not available separately. I just cleaned and painted mine.

The interior floor looks pretty clean at least. A little sanding/grinding followed by a touch up with some type of rust paint though and you should be good to go!

Yea it's a SoCal truck so rust is not a problem. I think the bracket was due to moisture from the rear AC or the window leaking. The seat bracket was probably due to a spilled soda or something. Just weird seeing that contrast with the parts next to them.
