odd battery question

I want to move my winch leads to the side bolt terminals. was wondering where I might get these bolts. I would just go to the hardware store and trial and error but figured I would start with an educated geuss.
if I do go the harware store route what type of metal is prefer for these. grade 8, grade 5, ss?

If you are talking about the side terminal of the battery that are usually on GM's you can get them from the auto parts store. I thin they have just the bolt but they would also have a whole battery terminal end you might want to consider.

An auto parts store would have them, but so does WalMart. I think using the correct bolts with the ends would be the best idea. It's a fairly course thread pattern. I doubt any standard grade 5/8 hardware would fit.

The side terminals on my Optima are standard 3/8-16 thread. I just used a plain ol' bolt with washers.

What KLF said. Sideposts are a standard 3/8-16 thread. Grade 5 or less is fine. Nothing special needed.
