Trail run anyone? I am looking for something different other than Crystal/Moody-Middle Saint Vrain/Coney. Suggestions are welcome.

:popcorn:

TH starts on Peak-to-peak highway in Peaceful Valley. Coney Flats is the hard left along the creek that takes you up to the flats and then back down to Beaver Reservior.

Johnny park/Pierson park?

Lets go there! Saturday?

So we went to Kelly Flats. Sam called up from Laramie and met me at Ted's. We ran Heart Attack hill, tried the chutes, and passed through the west end of the trail, which we experienced a little pellet snow while airing up. The notorious mud hole is essentially a ramp that carries you through that turn and the rest of the trail is smooth due to the bulldozer crunching down the rough spots. A few water bars were added above the mud hole in order to divert water away from the mud hole area.

We met Big Dees and a few others, which had driven up later, at the trailhead on the way back from Rustic. Sam parted and I ran Heart Attack Hill again with the second group and back down the bypass, which has become a little more challenging that a couple years ago.

How did the Chutes treat you?

I know when to quit. The hardtop is pretty wide for that gradual lean as you move up in there. I would have trashed my side, wing and corner windows. I'd like to get an Orion for more control and shed the top for more room before getting serious about running the chutes. Sam ran the 80 up in there pretty far and just touched the door and mirror and then backed down.

On another note, the right line up Heart Attack Hill was cake with the ARBs. :steer:

As I have seen in archived videos! :doh:

Maybe that video was your 40 entering the chutes on the right!

:steer::whoops:

2006 or something......Ben with his 80, a nice (yellow, I believe) early Mini truck and someone else (Hint; another white 40 :confused:) who may have the video.

Fun times.

I can burn a copy of the DVD for ya soon. :grinpimp:
