October Portsmouth Island Trip? (2 Viewers)

Would there be any interest in a club trip to Portsmouth Island this fall? There are no longer any cabins there so this would be a tent/back of the truck camping experience. I've been wanting to visit for quite a while, and I think doing it in a group, at least for the first time, would definitely be the way to go. Fishing here is supposedly excellent, but I defer to anyone with more experience here.

The weekends of Sept 30 - Oct 1 (weekend after Logan's Run) or Oct. 21-22nd, or the would be it for me as far as availability in October.

This is relatively short notice as well, I'd be using about the last of my vacation for this. Would be good to try and plan a spring trip as well to better figure out a date.

I’d reach out to the Star City Land Cruiser club in Roanoke,VA too. There’s a few fishermen in the group that need supervision and direction in their lives.
