PLAN -Of Action Ill be there (hard ROCK) at 10am this saturday 15th and 4 wheel all day. I planed Hard Rock but never been anywhere else.. i heard the forest was flat, lots of water and generally boring compared to Hard Rock. LEETS ALL MEET at Hard Rock at 10AM. camp if you want but I'm going home at 5pm when they close the park.

I'll have a white pop-up tent set up on the grass by the 4x4 area if anyone comes late will be eating lunch there. Also I'm bring a grill /burgers/ buns/ baked beans, chips and drinks for everyone.

Well there was only 3 of us today , but we had fun . Did alittle hill climbing , broke some stuff and thanks to fattires had a nice cookout . We couldn't have asked for better weather . Here some pictures from today , yes the 40 was moving .

Glad ya'll had fun, sorry I couldn't be there...

So... you have to explain now - how exactly do you break a hub like that? Was that trail damage from a rock or was it something waiting to fail that finally did?

1st time I've ever seen someone surf a fj40.impressive rocky!!! Had a great time, trails were fun, weather was spectacular and Jessy, Rocky and their family super people to hang out with. Also connected with two guys earlier in the day with Toyota crawlers. I couldn't keep up with those two going over the rocks but nice guys and look forward to connecting with everyone next time. 5 toyotas showed up for a run at hard rock on a last minute gathering request!, not too shabby.

Hard to tell from a pic but that rig was going down the trail at the time Rocky was hanging out of it!! Rocky was showing us a preview of us his new anti rolling technique. And what Steve could have done to prevent his rig from rolling at the last turkey trot.
