Greetings. I have a 1991 fj80, and have begun the process of manual swappin it with a h42. So far it’s going ok. After getting the A440f out, and the h42 bolted up I wanted to start it up and make sure it was all good. I bypassed the NSS, and at first it would just turn over and not fire off, I sprayed some starting fluid in her, and it fired up and ran, but kinda rough, doesn’t want to hold idle. I have a CEL code 28, (note: I did have to remove my exhaust BEHIND where the catalytic converters would be (mine are deleted) in order to get the trans out, I just cut a section out.)
So I begin a visual inspection of my O2 sensors, and I noticed that one of them (bank #2) is not connected to anything, and I don’t see a plug or wire near there that it looks like it would plug into. I’m guessing that maybe when I removed my transmission and all the wiring, maybe it could have been in that jumble of connectors? And just got unplugged? What I’d really love to find is a wiring diagram for where that O2 sensor is supposed to plug-in.
Also would that make it run crappy?

How about the 1991 EWD in the Resources section?

I don't know how the 3FE harness is routed. @jonheld would.

Good sir, thank you! I downloaded this and traced some wiring and it seems as though when I unplugged the transmission connections somehow that got unplugged and ended up over by the battery area. I routed it to this correct location plugged it in. I’ll fire it up later and see if it helped it. Thank you very much!
