"search" didn't bring up anything helpful...throwing P00031 code; looks to be the upstream O2 sensor. Any hacks/advice on changing out the sensor?

Many thanks!

Just found this thread... Lc200 o2 sensor replacement - anybody have instructions? - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/lc200-o2-sensor-replacement-anybody-have-instructions.983437/

So, apparently, my search skills pretty much stink! Could anyone tell me, based on the code, specifically which sensor is faulty?

Many. many thanks!
Gents, just a bump....anyone able to tell me which O2 sensor the code references? Upstream or downstream? Right or left?

Thank you so much

P00031 is the bank 1 pre catalytic sensor.
TL,DR - driver front sensor.

Bank 1 on a V engine is always the more forward head, on the 5.7, it's driver.

Pre-catalytic makes it the primary or forward upstream sensor.

I would recommend replacing O2s in pairs, meaning the primary sensor on both banks.

Thank you! Really appreciate the help!

Just a quick update..."rented" claw from AutoZone and started applied CRC before last weekend (expecting sensor to arrive from Denso so do the work on Sat- it didn't arrive until this past Monday). Also FliudFim to the connector, worked it until could disconnect it without too much trouble.

Applied CRC a few more times.

Yesterday, crawled underneath...had to use the "jack box" "tube" to create a mini breaker bar for my Craftsman but popped the old O2 out, installed new one, cleared the code...knock wood...so far so good. Appreciate all the guidance/help!
