"O"pinions on belts please

Took the monster to the dealer a bit ago for a very loud tick in the head and, of course when I got there it stopped, but they took a look anyhow and when we were in there I asked the teck if the belts were ok because they make one hell of a skweek all the time. I thought they might need replacing because they are riding below the top of the pully and IIRC the manual says they should be slightly above the top of the pully. Opinions please on replacing them. They are silent as a church mouse if you pour a bit of H2O on them then when it dries out they are back to the screaching again. The sound drives me crazy but doesnt bother the kid as he can't hear it with the tunes so loud.

They aren't too expensive, and somewhat easy to replace, so I'd go ahead and do it.

Make sure you get genuine (C-Dan), and they should be relatively quiet.

Yer go ahead and do it, just remove the bottom plate and all easy to get too, you must slacken off the bottom tensioner all the way, I still had to turn engine over with a spanner on the crank pully to get it on, but none to difficult
