Little back-story. Searched and searched in the tristate for a well-maintained Land cruiser or LX470 for some time with no luck. All the ones I looked at were very beat up and had a very rusty undercarriage. I almost gave up on the search and started to look out of state. I ended up finding this one out in Delaware. Original owner commuted from Virginia to Delaware regularly hence the mileage. The owners were in their 60’s. I did not want black but I did not want a beige interior so I pulled the trigger. I have had the LX for about 4 years now and I have gone thru it to make it almost perfect for me. I have done plenty of up keeping including all the ones that are necessary to keep these trucks on the road. AHC works perfectly as I replaced the Globes and fluid to keep the ride smooth. I have keep a logbook of everything I have done over the years with dates and mileage. I would not think twice in driving it across the country. This was a third car to my garage but I am down to two cars and I need something that gives me better gas mileage unfortunately for my commute into the city. Probably got more stuff I am forgetting right now but I will keep updating the list as I remember.
