Got the front bumper completed today. I really like it and NWTI has great customer service. Now on to rear bumper! Will post when it is finished.

Wow, that's a clean bumper, blends into the body nicely.
What is NWTI stand for?

How many shekels?

$420 if memory serves plus Fastenal shipping rates. We spent a few days welding then a few grinding. I really like how it looks on the truck.

I work down the street from one of the guys that makes these kits. Believe his name is Caleb, nice guy and I actually had a couple machining classes at the local college with him. It's nice to see a local (atleast to me) company making bumper kits. I was waiting for the day that he made 80 series bumper. He now has a rear bumper available as well and is going to offer swing out options soon. Pictures of the new rear are on portland craigslist automotive section.

Seen these kits on Craigslist and was hoping someone would build one. Looks great, but I'm not sure how it would look / work if the rig is de-flared. They also make bumpers for 60 series and Toy trucks.

Clean look...nice. Will look them up on the Portland CL. Thanks for posting.

Looks pretty good? How difficult was it to weld up? I'm considering trying one on my 83 4x4 first. Is it solid?

Cory, also how much room is in the winch space? Any chance a Warn 8274 could squeeze in there ?

Seems solid to me and didn't seem difficult to weld up, although I was just the shop brat who held things while the welder secured them. I am not very familiar with winches but the space is large.

Have you started on the rear bumper? Does it require any frame modifications? I am looking for a bumper that does not require the cross member to be removed.

So do I.

I'm interested to see how the rear looks. I'd really like a decent rear bumper I can run with the spare in the stock location and still run a hitch of some sort. I emailed them and they were great getting right back to me, but I can't find the email.

Looked through the instructions and it does not look like you have to remove the cross member. I will post for sure when I can get the project going.

Haven't got to it yet, everyone got busy as the weather warmed up.

Omaha and weather warming up. That makes chills run down my spine! I was born and raised there, left in 2000. There are a lot of things I still miss about it but the weather ain't one. I noticed that the CWS starts at the end of the week. That always means storms and tornados. Good luck with that rear bumper. The front looks great and we plan on getting one soon!
