Jill delivered Kian on Paliza Canyon trail during our first HDC Christmas tree run back in 2001. We gave her a bullet to bite on during the delivery. I filled a large pot with snow and used that for the boiling water.
Surely you guys won't let a little thing like having a baby stop you from coming to meetings? Are you having quadruplets or something? That would be a valid excuse to miss one meeting.

That's not far from the truth. I think that run was ran on her due date.

it wasn't right on the date, but certainly within 2-5 days. I packed a OB kit in my first aid kit.
he still didn't come 'til a week later.
Come on guys, don't let facts get in the way of a good story. :sheesh:

Thanks for hosting! Once you get to know all of these crazy guys and gals, you'll be glad you joined or else you'll move to Arkansas. It's a great group and we have good resources for wrenching help as well as parts.
I plan to make the meeting on 11/6 and hopefully my wife Ellen will join as well. See you then.

Jill may be a stronger lady than me. Plus she was probably younger. Regardless, If it were one of you guys pushing out an 8 lb baby, you wouldn't be back to a meeting for at least 6 months!!

Good glad you guys are coming...I found the shims for your cruiser in a random box this weekend! So I'll have those with me on Saturday.

Meeting has been moved, i just got done asking the hospital if it's ok to hold a non-profit club meeting in the labor/delivery ward. . Uh, in other words, we won't be able to make the meeting after all. Will keep y'all posted!
