November Meeting

Just a reminder, the meeting this month will be a week early. The last thursday of November is Thanksgiving.
We will be meeting Thursday, November 20th at 7:00 at Frank's.
There had been some discussion of changing the location to somewhere slightly warmer. Any thoughts? If we wanted to do Mannos or something, I could call to reserve the room.

I move that we bring a couple extra bucks to help buy gas for an Infra-red heater, so we can still meet at Frank's, at least for most of the cooler months...after he gets it insulated.. Manno's is nice, but is too busy to be able to secure a private room for us each month during wintertime. Although, it would be good to if we could get the private room a couple of times ($$) in the cooler months. Let's discuss this at the meeting.

November meeting minutes:

- For future reference, we are not allowed to do any shooting during organized club runs. Oops...

- Toys for Tots will be the December trail run. We will be leaving from the Loveland Safeway SATURDAY, December 6th at 8:00 AM.
Everyone needs to bring a toy but it does not have to be very expensive. Do not wrap your toy!
For donating a toy, you will get a meal and a raffle ticket.

- Toys for Tots Banner: It will be about 3 ft X 1.5 ft. It will have the Toys for Tots logo as well as our logo and the words "Toys for Tots Caravan." Amanda will send the information to be printed tomorrow (Friday, November 21st) and it will hopefully be done in time for the event. It will cost about $150. The club voted to have it made despite the cost. It will be high quality and usable for many years.

- Jeep Raffle tickets are due on December 6th! Please turn them into Frank either at Pederson or Frank's house or bring them to the trail run!

- Raffle Vehicle: Many people do not have the time right now to do a raffle vehicle. It was decided that we would hold off on the idea until July, 2009. At this point, we will revisit the idea and see how things are going.

- The last Thursday of December is Christmas. The December meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, December 18th.

- Attendance: Tyler, Paul, KJ, Jeremy, Bruce, Amanda, Bill, Frank, Bob.

P.S. I have not had the chance to create this month's news letter. I will have it done sometime this week and will post it as well as email it to those who are interested. I apologize for it being late but It was a very busy several weeks.
