I'm headed out to Evans Creek with some friends this Sunday November 1st. Meeting at 10am at Rainey's market. This will be similar to last years area, thick, sticky clay, hills, mud, water, and UGLY!! I recommend at least one locker, a winch is helpful, gnarly tires, and as much ground clearance as you can muster. Last year's pics are here.....

Your talking about out off of HWY 227 right?
How far of a drive from Medford do you think it is?
Where do you guys want to meet and what time?
I may tag along with my cruiser. Its up and running. I still need to do some front end work but it's up and running.

I've done some playing up out around West Fork in that area several years back.

Had lots of fun, thanks for the invite Jesse. Any chance you could email me the pics?

Glad to see you out wheelin'! Looking forward to the pics.
I went and found an itsy bit of mud Saturday and remember how much I don't like that slipping feeling that one gets on a descent on a muddy track especially with a couple of logs in/over the trail waiting to snag some sheet metal.. Sorry no camera.

I don't mind mud. I don't mind trails, snow, blazing, etc. All mud and I might have gotten bored but we did a lot of trails, tank traps, mud holes, and Steve (samari) even had us do some trail blazing (Steve "Its a trail REALLY! . . ." LoL ; )

I still need to do some work on it though. Rear shocks, front gears, Cut & Turn, etc. LoL

We had a great day, four rigs showed up. Steve and his Sami on 35" BFG's, Riley with his 82 mini on 35" LTB's, Brian and his 60 on 35" Trxus', and my Pig on 40" MTR's. The trails were slippery but not as bad as prior trips. There was almost no standing water so my bearings stayed happy. Two of us made it all the way up the first big hill climb. The Sami almost made it but came back down, the mini made it up with only a rear locker (LTB's kicked a$$), I barely made it, and then Brian hung out in the middle of the hill until finally turning around and meeting up with us elsewhere. After that we did a lot of trail blazing. We used the straps very little and only had one winching incident. There was a rather amusing moment went my pig tried to mate with a downed tree but the Sami pulled me off before any damage was done. I don't think there was any body damage and the rigs were all pretty reliable. It was definitely a good time. Here are the pic's! :pig:
