Looking at the Nitto Terra Grapplers (local tire chain recommended them for a good mix between highway longevity and off road prowess). The current boots are the stock Bridgestone Duallers which haven't held up so well--I attributed it to the P (passenger tire) rating on a fairly heavy vehicle (often loaded up for camping then driven 400-2500km to a destination)but don't really know for sure.
The Terra Grapplers come in P and LT ratings, the major differences are as follows:
Load rating difference of 700#
PSI difference
more $$ for the LT
I notice that quite a few of you run the Nittos, which rating did you choose and why?
Will the LTs give a longer life.
Are they more amiable to being run at low PSI while wheeling because of stonger sidewalls?
I don't mind spending the extra $$ but won't do it if it isn't for good reason.
