Oh wow, there is NO snow up there at all. I figured so much, but seeing pictures of how little snow there is is depressing.

That rocky section is nuts. Doesn't really look bad, but almost rolled my 40 and my wife almost rolled her pickup there. We took totally different lines and both still almost went over. It's a tricky section. I love that trail, not hard, but such awesome views and the little hut at the top is cool.

Yeah, I picked a bad line I guess right there from the get-go. Kept slipping off closer and closer to the tipover point each time I tried that turn. Folks I was with said that last week that part was all ice. They didn't even try it.

You learn something every time you go out.

I honestly couldn't find a way up it that didn't feel like it wanted to roll you. I went up closer to the edge and ended up about 6 inches from my tire going off when I slipped down. My wife.. seeing that mistake went farther up next to the tree and ended up having one wheel climb the ledge as the back wheel went into a hole and ended up with a tire 4 feet in the air and a terrified first time passenger! Luckly she was quick and stomped the clutch in ad let it roll back and she saved it... but I was running towards the truck thinking they were gone.

I would never touch that if there was ice or snow on it!

I need to go play while the weather is good... I might just have to go do something this weekend, those pictures make me want to get out and play! I'ts only about 45 minutes to the trailhead from my house... hummm....

Yeah...

I had my front locker engaged thinking that would help get me up over that big slab, but I just kept slipping down, down, down...

If we think of it like a Z turn, are you referring to the part were you are making a right turn before then making a left turn or after the left turn then going fairly straight up a large slab?
Down in the loose rocky section into the right turn up a slab/step I hugged far right, and strattled the "dips/holes" that tipped my buddies rigs... Walked right up... Jose said I went too quick and could hardly catch a pic ofe doing it...

After not doing any wheeling for a few months it was time to get out again! ...

Its that time again!!!!!!!!!
