North West cruiser run (Mt Baker area)

Well the summer is here and the weather is beautiful.

Id like to plane a trip to do a little bit of wheeling with some camping at the end.

No firm plans as of when or where so totaly open to suggestions however was thinking about heading up towards Mt Baker as I know a great camping spot with a view.

If your at all intrested in something like this please post up, also if you have some time frame youd like it to be in.

alright to vauge? ill be heading out on friday the 13th (bad luck day run) and heading up towards baker to look around on some of the roads up there. camping spot is up on the mountain

Im located in bellingham, it would probably be about 2 1/2 hours from seattle.
Im open to suggestions on when to leave (if something works better for you)
Ill post back here with a few more details tonight.

Ok after reviewing the forest service web site there a few roads Id like to check out so this will be some what of an informal run with a great camping spot at the end of the day. If any one wants to just camp please let me know so we can arrange a meeting spot to head into the camping spot. The girl friend, dog,a nd i will be heading out from here say 9 ish to go explore.

I wish I could go this weekend, but I am doing the Seattle to Portland One day bike ride on Saturday morning, so I have to bow out. Anxious to hear how the wheeling up there is though.

Damn, I"ve got t make it over to this forum more often, this is what I"m interested in , but have really only been on WATTORA and doing day runs. Ended up joing northwestoverlandsociety.org as they're open to all vehicles and focused on camping/wheeling expedition trips.

I'm down for a future trip. Weekend of 29th no good, Toyta Fest, and I'm busy the weekend of the 11th as well.

I need about a month notice if it involves taking any weekdays off.
