Purchased May 2021
Current mileage: 213k miles (Daily Driver)
I now have more faith in the vehicle and would trust it to drive most any place.
In addition to the purchase price of the rig, I have put close to $10k in it during the past couple of months. The parts I used were mostly OEM or better and are almost brand new (<1500 miles).
This was going to be a daily driver for me and was going to be used for light off-roading with my son, but I am selling to buy a 3/4 ton truck for towing.

- Previous owner replaced Heater-T’s and drivers seat cover
- AHC works, but needs to be adjusted and fluids swapped (Lexus tells me they can’t get the fluid at the moment)
- Original Nakamichi stereo – works well for age
- Power seats, windows, sunroof, side mirrors all work
- AC blows cold
- 98% rust free vehicle (located in Texas now)
- Have the original bumper and running boards
- Alternator: Lexus tech seemed to think it was getting close to time, but is functional for now. Lower on the priority list according to Lexus.
- Control arms: Getting close to time to replacing them. I have the Sankei 555 bearings to replace. Just need to find the time to get them done.
- Bushings: At some point they probably should be replaced as well. Further down the list
- Windshield: The previous owner, don’t get me started, had someone replace the front windshield and it was not installed correctly. It is functional, but has wind noise. The installer just did not do the job per spec with the rivets.
- Body molding: It appears as though the previous owner got into a fender bender with it and some of the body molding was not reinstalled correctly. It doesn’t bother me, as I’m not intending the rig to be a parking lot princess.
- Couple of body dings in the rig. Nothing major; gives it some character.
- Starter: Not sure if it has ever been replaced. It appears to work fine, so I’m not concerned at the moment.
- Ironman bumper signal lights: Flashing rapid. Needs the relay installed. I haven’t bothered to mess with it yet.
