Safari Turbo Kit - full kit including orig manifold / intercooler / oil cooler / mounts fittings and all hoses / stainless pipes etc.
This was a $6000 kit originally and i started cleaning it up/ descaled and inspected manifold and recoated with a high temp 1400deg coating, Intercooler is in great shape and i went thru and straightened all fins on one side and started cleanign and inspecting all the high end brass and stainless fittings which all are in great shape.
The turbo is a Holset hx35g that was cleaned and inspected and looks to be a low mile newer setup. The p.o. ran a hgiher boost setup than the original turbo and i had gotten as far as researching cfm and flow comparisons to the stock Safari unit and according to some of the turbo forums there are smaller snails which correspond close to the stock Safari cfm numbers. I never got around to hunting that down but they appear to be fairly common/sourceable items. This was the only kit back in the 80series era that was 50 state legal which is why they are highly sought after in many of fhe tougher emissions states like Calif.
I got about 1/3 thru the cleaning process and its sat ever since. Ready for someone to take up the mantle.
$1250 plus shipping, ( local pickups will get first dibs as its pretty sizeable and i have no clue on shipping costs since i had picked it up locally). If shipped it will likely require a few boxes. But still should be priced at 1/2 -1/3 of turbo kit prices.
