Not the largest collection of OHV trails, but combined with the lakes, views, fishing, camping, hiking and mountain biking opportunities, this is one of my favorite places on this planet.

Thanks for posting up map Eddy.How so i get my hands on a real copy? I have had the Rangers mail maps and free info in the past.Or do you suggest download and copy? Might not come out too good.Love that area also.Have you been up to the lookout tower?

It is being produced by the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship and will be for sale in all the local bike shops. I'm on their email list which you can sign up on the site. The recent update said it was "going to press".

We have been going to Salmon Lake Lodge every summer for a week for the last nine years. It is a wonderful area.

That map makes it hard to tell exactly what area of California that is, and where its located... so I did some searching and came up with this: Google Maps

Looks like one heck of a drive, but Ive been up in that area before and I know just how beautiful it can get. I'll have to remember this for later Thanks!
