I have the Chuck Wells NorCal book.
Its ok but not 100% complete.
Its has good discriptions and directions, with a basic map for each trail.

OOH!
I might have to pick that one up!

I like the "4X4 NOW", price...it really grabbed my attintion AAAAND, made me think it was a great deal!:grinpimp:

The TTORA site, as Big D mentioned, is a pretty good referrence on the trails.
However, I think the trail difficulty ratings are a bit off!

I need to get that one, already have the Delorme and the NV DOT atlases. Lwcrln and spressomon had the Benchmark on the central NV trip and it has more detail then they do.

The NV DOT road atlas shows every cow path in the state, but doesn't have topo lines.

I use both Delorme and Benchmark maps with the Benchmark as my 90%. But every once and a while I find something on the Delorme that doesn't exist on the Benchmark (but its rare). Same with electronic maps: NG offers more detail than Delorme. But Delmore has the 3D, etc.
