I should expand on my post from yesterday, I was on my phone when I posted that last night. My apologies but I can't figure out how to delete the thread yet.
After an agonizing process that has caused great strife in my home, I've narrowed my car search to the LC and LX. Without going into great detail, those two rigs have everything I need. I'm looking for a 2003 to 2005 and I can spend about 18k$. I need the car to be pretty "clean" because the vehicle will not only be our primary family vehicle, but also will be used for professional purposes (I'll have ranching folks in the car who I dont know) and I need it to be something I'm not worried about. It needs to look good - seats etc.
I think I'm focused on those years because, well, they are a little newer, I think the side impact curtains were standard by that time (I have two young children and this will be the kid hauler too), the seats tend to be in better shape etc. I do see them up for sale in that price range with low 100s miles on them on a semi-frequent basis. I'm just having a hard time getting to them before they are gone.
I ran into a dude (Ian) at home depot with a sick little 2004 and he told me this was the place to go. So here I am.
