Here to gather as much info as I can on these beasts to be the best educated as possible when I choose a rig in another year or two when my commuter Altima is paid off~
I've had 2 FJs and never had an issue but have always wanted a coveted LC, or perhaps GX the more I read and look. I'm familiar with some options but not down to certain trim levels or anything. I wanted to collect some good resources from this site and others so I can read up, and also get insight from current/past owners and to help others going down the same path at a later date, form a sticky or maybe I missed the existing one. From what I've gathered so far, LCs are the most expensive, GX460s>GX470s for some reasons I think, but that's about it. All will be capable, daily drivers, big enough to camp and sleep in flat in back for said trips and fishing outings on the beach. Aftermarket support is important but I don't plan to get radical with it, just middle of the road mod wise; slight lift, bumpers, winch and such. Thanks.
