Is there any difference other than the drivers side slider handle on a track rails of seats on a bjfj73 with or without factory susp seats, can you mount the susp bases to standard track rails, for a seat that did not have suspension seats , I understand the difference in floor mounting, etc I think I have that covered unless there is difference intake distance of bolt holes, my question is there differences in track rails from a bucket seat with or without suspension seats, do the have same distance in bolts hole from front to back, and the angle of the brackets is there any difference ?? Cheers

I'm running suspension seats with out the suspending base on my 1985 HJ75 seat rails. Everything is the same but putting a bucket on the passengers side required carefull drilling as the captive nuts where already mounted just needed locating and drilling.

So could I put a suspension base in my FJ73 or would the old front seat rail running over the gearbox mound get in the way?

My recently departed bj74 had the susp seats, and the base & floor bolt hole sat just behind the tunnel rib, I reckon if you look under rig Billy, those cactive nuts would be there, just pre drill up from underneath to get exact

My 1985 pick up ute has a 90L fuel tank with raised floor pans to suit so there's no way to get the suspension bases to fit unless I ditch the tank and run BJ70's style floor rear pans.
