The 66 FJ45 I acquired last March without a drivetrain is now drivable and became a sandblasting, rebuilding adventure in itself. I realize its not a totally original, museum sort of build, but I still managed to get my knuckles scraped pretty good over the last few months. Cut & grinded from a spring-over on 35s back down to a spring-under on 33s. I also accidentally fried my wiring harness in September, so That was a learning experience in re-wiring, which is all good now. Thanks to Mike for his assistance in frame straightening and easing my fears with the harness. The fire truck air cleaner was purchased from Mark Algazy and it works well.

Number 21947, mated to a 77 front clip with the bigger brake booster for front discs. Criticisms are welcome

Here's a couple of the transmission hump that used to be mostly surface rust and beige. Once the various holes were welded shut and grinded smooth, I chose the sandblasting process and cleaned everything off it prior to install, love it when ya get a great fit. Friend of mine was cutting a circular hole in a plate I made in the driveway for the shifter and it received the same treatment.
