Noisy BFG AT

LTXs are pretty quiet tires but their tread pattern is pretty mild so that makes sense. ATs are quiet as well but have a more aggressive tread pattern and in relation to their tread pattern they're actually pretty quiet especially when new. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that new ATs are about as quiet as used LTXs.

bfg at/ko2 have been amazingly quiet with a few k miles so far. Not that noise was/is a consideration when I purchased them, but I was surprised.

cheers,
george.

Agree. BFG AT/KO2 nice and quiet here.

It's been so long since I had LTXs I really don't remember.

30k and still quiet here too! Wear is great! Won't lie, not as good gas mileage as my previous LTX M/S. But excellent on every terrain even wet, snow and ice!

My ko2's and wildpeak at3w's are not noisy. However, they are way heavier than the michelins and noticeably affects gas mileage and acceleration. Might want to consider that aspect.
