Disconnected battery on 2017 landcruiser, now entertainment system is disabled, anyone knowhow to get a code or reinitialize it? they say there is supposed to be a code in the owners manual package but i bought secondhand without the books...

I suspect if you can't find the code you can take it to a Toyota dealer and they can look it up somehow.

We are talking BP51 … dealers don’t build BP51 setups , specs on the 5th gen are very similar to the LC200 , need a shock specialist to see if the front sand rear struts would work on a 4runner , part numbers and specs are very close to the 200 with out me pulling part the 4runner , the top mounting pattern are the same , with the shortages and prices going thru the roof on parts might , fronts might be a little stiff but factory setting for LC200 is 20mm but either spring change of back off preload especially if running a bumper .’
Really need a BP-51 expert before I get to far .

Wrong thread?

After talking to several dealerships they seemed to think this is unusual, and say bring it in. I am now thinking perhaps there is a fuse problem, but dam there are a lot to check and the ones under the dash are no fun to get to... any ideas where the radio fuses would be?

I’ve just looked through all the documents for my ‘17, which I bought new. No reference to a radio security code and/or any security precautions related to disconnecting the battery. Something else is going on with yours. Which I thought was the case. No one has mentioned a security code for that before, so far as I know.

I just repeatedly disconnected the battery while working on electrical and around an airbag. No problem with any systems after reconnecting.

There is no security code.
Is your screen blank as well?

Ever find a solution?
