A couple weeks ago I came out from a Chick Fil A and my 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser with 150k miles had no power. I mean nothing! I put the key in and turned it and absolutely nothing happened. I tried jumping it, which let me turn the lights on, operate windows, but not enough power to crank it. So I got a new battery. It was fine after that so I thought awesome it's fixed, but now 2 weeks later the same thing happened. Any ideas?

Chick fil a is cursed!

My crx got it's seatbelt slammed on the door. Busted the door sensor. Which made the car think the passenger door was always open. Small drain. Dead batteries. I'd say ya got a drain somewhere. Good luck!

Ok, the plot thickens. I searched for a slow drain, everything seems to be connected and operating as it should.

So I replaced the alternator and had the battery charged.

Cruiser ran great yesterday and today, but tonight as I was sitting at the red light by my house the radio shut off. Then the guage lights went dim. As I pulled in the garage the ABS light came on. Then the engine started to slow its rpms, and even was operatjng intermittent before I finally shut it off. Now it's back to no power.

Thoughts?

I'll be interested to see how this mystery ends!

I'd pull off, clean and re ground all your chassis bonds, I've had a new vehicle that "faded and died" intermittently and that problem was poor chassis bonding. Doesn't necessarily explain the first battery dying, but that might just be winter taking its toll.
