Come on, guys. Someone must know what to line a gasoline tank with to prevent corrosion from water condensation!

If so, I surely would appreciate your sharing that experience. My new tank is about finished and am waiting to coat the interior.:eek::eek:

I dunno what they use, but a local radiator shop has done a couple for me in the past and turned out very well... If I think about it I'll ask tomorrow..... My neighbor had a tank refurbed by these folks http://www.gas-tank.com/ maybe you can get some info there...

A while back I did a motorcycle tank with some stuff called "Cream"

it was a two step process, first part was to put acid in the tank to etch it, then dry it thouroughly then the next part was poured in and you rolled the tank (alot) untill you where pretty sure you had coated the whole insides of the tank.

worked good, but for a Auto fuel tnak you might need two kits, call a motorcycle shop, most of the good shops should be bale to help you out. Just make sure you dont plug up anyvent lines with it (ask me how I know ;))

I have used POR15 on a fuel tank, worked great.

you have water in your fuel??

I found Kreem and another lining product from KBS Coatings. Thanks for the information. Hard to find these materials in a rural area.
