Whilst washing the truck a few days ago, I noticed a new love mark in one of my rear fender flares. While my sliders have been working admirably, they just don't protect all of the bulbous proportions of an 80.
So, I did a simply DIY fix, let's see if you can notice how I remedied this.

Swapped the 35x12.5 mud terrains from your 40 onto your 80. :beer:4 me!

It started out as kind of a test whether the 15" rims on the 35's would fit. On the early model 80's, the rotors and calipers are smaller than the '94 and up models.
So yes, they fit. What is odd that on my 40 front end, which has 60 series discs, I needed a 1/4 spacer, and on the 81 I don't.
And they look way better! But now the 40 just looks silly with a SOA and 285 75R16's :)

And my spare is useless now as well.

I'll try them out for Eagle Ridge on Sunday. While they have tons of tread, they are very very very old tires, then switch the AT's back on.
