Good Morning all.
I have a 92 cruiser with 200K on it and everything works great. It is well maintained and is my wife's daily driver.
She recently reported that it is idling too slow. I checked it and it is just under 600 rpm, which is a little slow. I also noticed that when the A/C is turned on the idle doesn't increase at all as it always had in the past. In fact, the idle drops a tad with the increase load from the A/C compressor.
What is the most likely culprit? I searched for a 1/2 last night for vacuum leaks and found none.
I thank you in advance for taking the time to read this post and give your suggestions. I assume there is some type of idle control electronics and hardware I should be checking out.
Regards,
Bill Black
