I just drove up the Coq Monday, stayed in Kelowna for the night. Departed at 5:30 drove to Montrose via Trail connector and back up to Penticton. Dropped parcels and came back down over the Keremeos connector and Princeton-Hope. My truck is cleaner now than when I left. No where, Kelowna. Hill into Rossland and Trail nor Penticton was there a drop of brine. Not even Hwy 33 to Big White turn off.
Is there a new mandate to limit brine usage?
The whole way from Anachist Summit right down to the bottom of the switchbacks in Osoyoos, nothing. It’s was 20 kph and nose to ass coming down that hill. Never seen anything like it.
What’s up??
Princeton getting gas. Anarchist Summit. Trail-Rossland Connector, I know there was snow accumulation but in the past it’s been underlayed with brine.

I just remembered also I had a conversation with a guy my vintage in a F-250 who had just driven down from Dawson Creek.
He got hung up in the crap of a crash and jack knife of semis on Jackass Mountain in the Canyon. But his truck still had northern
mud on it, not a hint of brine. He also said there was no brine even thru Pine Pass and thru PG. Got me wondering and
hoping there might be a winter road trip in the 60 in January. Would be very cool to spin the wheels in snow in the
Kootenays again.

Seeing brine in abbotsford but none in PG either when I was there but it was pretty dry on all of Hwy 97 up to PG. last week.
I guess we just need to be prepared for 'Good Winter Driving Conditions' LOL
