Hello All,
I just pulled the trigger and bought myself a Fuso box truck to do a diesel conversion on my 80. I will be selling the stock engine and trans out of it once I do the conversion. I expect the drivetrain to be available in about 3-4 months.
The drivetrain is expected to have about 215k miles on it when it is pulled judging by the amount of miles I drive on average.
The engine runs great, no smoke, no hesitations, and the transmission is funcitoning perfectly as well. The following maintenance has been performed using all OEM parts and I have receipts for all of the parts/service.
- Valve Cover Gasket
- Plugs/Cap/Rotor/Wires
- RC Engineering cleaned the injectors
- Plenum pull and clean
- PCV Valve
- Water Pump
- Thermostat
I will sell the complete engine and trans for $700 and I am willing to ship. If you want to come see the truck/engine and take it for a ride before I pull it feel free. I will take a video before removal to verify condition.
