Toyota Trucks & Landcruisers are well known for their strength & reliability all over the world. Out of the box they feature some pretty great drivetrain, but they do have their limits. The factory axles are 30 spline at the diff, but neck down to 27 spline at the birfield creating a failure point. Additionally the factory Birfield joints are not built to withstand the added stress of larger tires and heavy off road use. Nitro Gear & Axle has addressed this by offering a range of Heavy Duty Chromoly Birfield Joints & Axle Shafts.


-NITRO 30/30 Kits feature axles that have 30 splines at both ends, eliminating the factory neck-down. Fully compatible with factory or aftermarket carriers, lockers, & hubs.

This 900 HP Dynomite Diesel Products pulling truck limped in with 3 broken axleshafts after a recent event.

Up front the broken OE 30 spline shafts were swapped for Nitro alloy 35 spline assemblies, An Auburn Gear, LLC Aftermarket Products Ected Max Elocker was installed in the Dana 60, new Nitro 5.13 gears and all that beef contained with Nitro Billet main caps.

In the rear Dana 70 out came the damaged OE 32 spline components and a custom machined Dana 80 37 spline Nitro Spool, Nitro ring and pinion and 37 spline Nitro Alloy axleshafts were installed along with another set of billet bearing caps to keep everything together.

Hi.
I send you for warranty 3 birfields, HD version for Toyota 80. You declined the warranty, as the birfs are clicking / rattling. The car was driven for 3000 km only.
I called today with the customer which are 2 of the birfs from. He has many Toyotas for 20 years, he had lot of birfs from Nitro, from Longfield, stock Toyota and never had problem like this so fast. It is unacceptable that we sent you the birfs 2 months ago and still have no info about them. The birfs are rattling even when you have them in hand, that is really not normal. I need final solution fast from you, our customers are angry about this (we have 30 days to solve it by law here).
Yor reply for this claim was only: The warranty was denied as the axles are not broken.
