They went to a new model cv axles that still fit our GX470s, but you need to buy a new nut.I see in the past Toyota would offer remanufactured CV axles, do they still do this? And if so does anyone have part numbers?

I haven’t heard that…maybe the same but redesigned with a new nutLemme guess the new model isnt built as tough as the originals?
You can just re-boot your old ones. It's a super easy job and cheaper than getting OEM reman ones. That's all the OEMs do anyway (clean the axle, add no grease, and new boots).
Not sure on Toyota specifically, but my OE bearings are still doing fine despite having 199K on the CV axles.Does Toyota not replace the bearings in a re-build? that strikes me as ... odd.
