Nice looking truck on ebay

Most things on that truck are custom. The spare mount is custom. The front receiver was custom. The aluminum rack is custom. The PO had some fab experience with Stout when they were still in business but I think that was before he got the 80.

The rear spare mount (if I remember correctly) was through the rear cross-member and did not use the factory receiver hitch (for departure.) He designed it for a 35" tyre and later went to the 37's. After he designed and built it, he mentioned to me that it was pretty steady but the problem was lowering it and raising it. He was a young guy and pretty strong. You would have to raise and lower it every time you got in the rear hatch..... and for me, that is a LOT. I don't like that design but it was inexpensive to build.

For those of you that are interested in buying the truck, you should know the PO was a chain smoker. I don't know the guy that has it now. It may have been deodorized... it would need it.

I do not recall that silver wiring bundle so he must have added that since I last saw the truck.
