Ok, I am a firm believer that great audio is a must. 
I don't see any reason to be in the middle of nowhere having fun with **** audio!
While the JBL system that comes with the LC is very good for a 'stock' system, I think I have proved that I am not one for stock
In my past vehicle (2005 Acura TL) I had several amps, (2) 10" Subs etc.
When I got the LC I knew it was going to be very difficult to find a way to get this stuff into it.
The goals were that I wanted to add this stuff, make the system kick a s s but NOT lose cargo room.
Plus if I was going to be wheeling at all, I didn't want the stuff to get totally dirty, scratched, and abused.
So for the past few weeks I have been trying to find a place for the basics:
Amps and Subs.
Well for the sub, I am thinking that I am going to have my guy (the guy who has done alot of my past audio stuff) try and fit a low profile 10" or hopefully a 12" sub where the factory sub is. I looked through the tech manuals I have and he will need to remove alot of junk behind the passenger rear panel and then fiberglass a new mount to hold everything in place.
We should have enough room in there, but we will have to see when we get it apart.
We were hoping for a second sub on the other side, but it looks like the rear a/c blower is in the opposite space on the drivers side.
Now for the amps......that is the real tricky part but we think we have it solved.
I am not sure about previous LC's but the 200 series comes with some spare cargo room in the rear hatch!
It is mainly used for the first aid kit, and other extras (duct tape, wheel locks, etc.) The second space is for the factory lug wrench, spare tire jack etc. Stuff that can just go into my spare bag instead of in there.
In that space is a basic plastic mold to hold everything. We are going to be removing that plastic mold and then use some liquid nails to put some 1/2 ply wood against the metal of the hatch on the inside.
Once that is dry we will screw in the amps!
The fit should not be a problem as you can see by the pics below.
The hatch is thick enough to have them seat in there without coming out the top.
There are no lights or any electronics inside the hatch as far as we can tell. Just empty space!
Now for the wiring. We need to fit power, ground, remote, and speaker wires.
We noticed that there are two grommets underneath each side of the plastic 'flap' that comes down to create a 'one piece' look from the trunk to the hatch. They are directly into the underbody of the LC!
Also having two of them is perfect...one for power the other for speaker! (The need to be as far away from each other as possible to avoid any feedback/interface)

They look a bit too small, but we can widen them up a bit. We will obviously make sure that there is nothing on the other side that would get in the way.
Plus we will have to do some sort of 'bent' metal flex tubing/pipe to go from the hatch door to the grommet otherwise the wires will continually be bent and that would be bad!
The amps wont have an issue with being vertical the whole time, but we will still need to have them vent some where.
So I was thinking some sort of plexiglass cover with slits about 1/3" wide and about every 1/2". That should let everything vent just fine. It will get some dirt in there, but I can just remove those covers, vacuum, and put them back on!
I will need to use a AudioControl LC6 to stabilize and most likely boost the signals from the stock amp to the amps etc.
Once that is all done, I can eventually put new speakers in as needed.
Well any thoughts?
OH and I know I am best going with a second battery to run this audio stuff, the winch, and eventually when I get some more lights. I am just trying to find a place for it to go!
