Nexen Tires (1 Viewer)

Saw an FJ Cruiser with some Nexen Rodian MT's on it tonight. Great looking tire that I had never heard of. Trying to pick some tires for my soon to be completed 60 and these come in a 31-10.5-15.

Anyone know of these?

I have Nexan Rodian AT II on my fj60. I did almost no research on them as my cruiser had one of these brand new and the other three were in dire need of replacement so I went the cheap route and got three to match.

So far I only have around 150 miles on them and none of that off road. When I purchased them I asked the tire guys how they liked them and they said they were decent and they are also the cheapest tire cost wise.

I had them on the back of my 96 Maxima, with BFG Traction T/A's on the front. I know that you should have a matched set of four but I didn't...I don't know if it was the BFG's or the Nexan's, but I could never get the car totally smooth. It always seemed that the balance was a bit off. It was a bad three years or so.
Two months ago I went to Costco and purchased a set of 4 Bridgestone Turenza Serenity tires, and it is nite and day! The ride is smooth! They were expensive, but seemingly worth it.
I will say that the Nexan's wore very well. There is a lot of thread left, in fact I kept one as a full size spare, as I had an extra wheel.
