Thanks TNToyota for this beautiful pic. Almost reminds me of the rental VX-R Limited I had. Difference is the VX-R had a better stereo, a screen up inbetween the vents that had a digital multi information display, inclinometer, compass and temperature gauge with MPG monitor in Imperial and metric display. Also had the cool box under the center console, 12-way driver seat with 3 memory settings and power adjustable steering wheel, along with leather heated seats and a built in winch. Cool ass 4x4.
Dude, seriously go play in chat. This is the tech section, which means actual tech gets discussed from time to time![]()
Even though it was a rental, I did feel bad about driving it offroad. It was just tooo good. But especially in Yemen when you see a bunch of LandCruiser VX-R's ripping through the hills at crazy speeds, it kinda lets off all the guilt untill you find out that its just a kid playing with Daddys LandCruiserBut still you will feel bad bashing the VX-R, thats why you should stick to GX or GX-R.

Kids these days
On a Side note, a GX-R is also too nice to thrash. I did rent a 2004 Toyota Prado VX V6 6spd wich was very very fun. That sucker would fly down the highways like a bat from hell. I really enjoyed the driving position in the 120series Prados and the smooth shifting 6spd M/T gear box had excellent ratios. Its a hotrod. The Atrac on the Prados also works just like on the USDM 4Runners. I was thinkin the Prado 120 had lockers untill i didn't see a switch for it, wich worried me untill I got some nasty obstacles and then I heared the familiar grinding noise (ABS) when the tires started slipping and catching air. Actually I think the Prado's Atrac works alot better than the 120 4runners. I think when your in 4Low it must activate a much more harsh ATrac, or so I noticed.
Huh?You obviously bring a point ANYONE in the US will have to have to travel abroad to counterpoint there, Modesto..........![]()
