The earlier LC200s have less approach and departure angles than they newer ones. Why? Did Toyota update the bumpers on the newer ones?

Old LC200: 30/20/21 (approach/departure/breakover).

New LC200: 32/24/21.

Sorry if this was asked before. Just curious.

Anyone else have a theory why the approach AND departure angles improved after the facelift?

Here's another question: Why does a bone stock 1991 Land Cruiser have better approach and departure angles than a 2020?

(The real answer is crash compatibility)
