I have had my cruiser only 2 weeks. Just had new Bridgestone Revos installled yesterday. Today while driving I noticed two wierd things, not related to the tires, I don't think.
1. when i back up, there is a nasty grinding sound which sounds like brakes. don't hear it going foward, only backwards?

2. when you go foward and backwards you can hear water sloshing that in trapped in some pocket or body panel?

Yeah i had that same water problem. It gets annoying after awhile. Haha. It sounds like damn niagra falls coming through my car.

You didn't say what you did to resolve the water in the rockers. You can avoid future problems buy cleaning the drain slits in the pinch weld. There should be some pictures in the archives.

As for the noise in reverse, that might be the automatic transmission problem seen in some later models. What year is your 80?
