Hey Mud,

Looking for some real-world feedback on tire fitment for my 2010 LX570. I’ve got a wheel/tire setup available and I’d prefer not to do a lift. I am fine doing the usual mods—cutting back the mud flaps, pushing liners, minor trimming, maybe spacers if needed—just don’t want to go down the lift route right now.

Wheels (brand new):
  • Method MR321
  • 17x8.5
  • 6x139.7 / 6x5.5
  • +25 offset
  • 106.25 hub

Tires (included, used):
  • Falken Wildpeak AT3W
  • LT285/70R17
Questions for the group:
  1. Anyone running 285/70R17 on a stock-height LX570 with similar offset?
  2. With +25, am I looking at serious rubbing, or is it manageable with the usual trimming/liner mods?
  3. If 285/70R17 is a no-go without lift, what’s the largest size that reliably fits stock height on the 200-series?

Trying to decide if I can run this setup as-is or if I should switch to a smaller tire before mounting everything.

Thanks in advance—always appreciate the Mud wisdom.

I have this exact setup in wheel size/offset + tire size. All I did was remove the mud flaps behind the front wheels. I did no other modifications and suspension is stock ride height - no sensor lift. 2013 LX. It rubs BARELY at full lock in reverse. It's so minimal I don't even remember which direction. Tires are Goodyear Wrangler Ultraterrain.

TONS of threads on here about this so use the search feature. Here's just one of them. This wheel & tire setup has been covered extensively and is basically plug and play for 200 series.

A lift will not help you run larger tires. 6x5.5 not the correct bolt pattern for your lx.
