Thank you both. Upon checking with Discount Tire, it seems out of those in videos and Kendas, only the following three come in size 285/75/17 in C load rating.

Looks like my options are:

Toyo Open Country AT3
Nitto Ridge Grappler
Falken Wildpeak AT4W
Toyo OC AT3 load C lighter than Falken ATW4. I have the OC AT3 in load XL in stock size and they do well in all conditions including snow

The engineer in me prefers the lighter Toyos AT3s, but the poser in me likes the more aggressive look of the Falken AT4s sidewalls.

The ducks nuts, the crème de la crème..

So sick. If there was no budget, they would be on my car for sure.

Im not a huge fan of their looks, but they are strong, lightweight, and have good offset.

I have often changed brands and sizes of tires on my Cruisers, and not only is it exhausting to try to get the best stance, performance, and look, it’s also expensive.

Lol

I’m going to need new tires soon on my 200. It currently has 285/75/17 BFG KO2 (from PO). I’m watching these threads to try and narrow down the choices.

I just put the Toyo ATIII in 285/75/17 on the 200, had the Toyo RT in the same size previously.
I also had the Toyo ATIII in 35/11.5/17 on my Ineos Grenadier for almost 2 years.
I just picked up a 2020 lx570 and plan to put Toyo ATIII 35/11.5/17 on it within the next month.
Toyo makes a great tire.

If I was shopping for an AT today it’s would be Toyo OC AT3 or Nitto Terra Grappler G3. Same company, both great tires.

Size question here.
Would a 285/70 18 Toyo AT III fit a stock 2018 Cruiser on the original Toyota rims with no mods (no lift, etc)?

The biggest tires that will fit a stock truck on stock rims are 275/70r18 or 285/65r18. Anything bigger will rub. The search function will give you info on how to make bigger tires fit, but it will involve work.

Okay, thanks guys. And if I have a 2" lift? Will a 285/70 18 AT tire on the stock rim work? That's my build plan. Thanks again.

It will by and large drop in with really minimal effort. Lift is not a requirement. Spare will even fit.

All that's necessary:
  1. 1" wheel spacers with the stock rims
  2. Pull front plastic wheel well liner forward - Trimming Wheel Well for Larger Tires - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/trimming-wheel-well-for-larger-tires.975420/#post-10849362
  3. Massage rear plastic wheel well liner with a heat gun
  4. Add a bit more caster (alignment) to bring tire forward in wheel well
Enjoy!

Some minor additional mods would be to fit Hawk LTS brake pads to bring brake torque back.

Thanks so much for spelling that out. I really appreciate it. You add a lot to this community with your thoughtful posts and the time you take to add photos, etc. Much appreciated!

Will 265/60R18 fit a 2021 Series 200 LC? Need to mount some Nokian Hakka 10s studded, thanks for any advice

I just put on Nokian nAT Outpost tires LT 265/70R18 on my 2013 LX. I have the OEM LandCruiser 18” rims. Never got Nokians before but thought I’d give them a whirl. This size is slightly skinnier than stock (.4 inches) and about 32.6” diameter. So not as big as 275/70R18s. Full size spare fits fine. The drive from the shop was good- much quieter on my rig than my old KO2s (I like KO2s a lot, but they aren’t quiet). I will report back once I have some miles on them.

Just waiting for the last pen strokes to hand over a check for the 2021 Series 200 LC - car should be here in a month...

I'm opting for the Nokian Hakka 10s studded given where I live; not cheap - about $1,700 balanced and installed but worth it.

I've had Nokians since the 70s when we lived in Europe and did some winter rallyes in my 2.2L 911 Targa. I currently have them on the wife's Macan and my 992; the ultimate winter tire.

FWIW I test drove for VW/Audi/Bentley for a season as part of their winter program (summer is in AZ). During that time a (major) customer specifically asked for Vredestein to be tested on one of the Bentleys. Horrific road manners in deep cold. A cheaper alternative to Hakkas are Blizzaks and those are quite popular here . But for me, where I live and my decades of winter experience, Nokian are the tires.

YMMV of course

I'm trying to find the database but I don't see it linked....I'm sure this is user error.

But to cut to the chase: I'm shopping for 2008-2013 LX570's, $25k or less, and these all come with 20" wheels. I want to move to 18's with minimal fuss, no lift, for that mild offroad look, most likely on Grapplers or Michelins. For someone on a limited budget what's a safe bet in terms of fitment (looking for flush, no poke)? Appreciate any advice....

Stock wheels are either +60 or +56 offset (Rock Warriors +50), generally a +25 offset will get you closest to flush with the fenders. Many aftermarket companies make either a +25 or +35 offset wheel in the 5x150 pattern that are intended for the 200 platform.
