My first post after standing on the sidelines for almost a year. Learned a lot from the informations I have gathered while waiting to join in. I have an old 80 series (VX Limited) with 1HD-t turbo diesel with an automatic transmission. placed a pair of locking hubs to do 4x2 on pavement. snorkel to avoid drowning during flash floods in manila and a 4" suspension lift to accomodate a set of 33's M/T for cross country driving with my family.
Other than the regular oil change and some regular maintenance works, the 80 has been very faithfull all these years. Nice to know we all share the same passion of driving a legend.
