Everything in the posts play a factor.Look at your spring AND shackle bushings first, mine were worn bad and the perches were rounded out after time from not changing the bushings.Lift the whole front and and see how much lateral play you have. Caster and camber comes into play but not too much, take a look at your tire wear that will tell the story of which.Check your wheel bearing tightness too, with the old locking rings they tend to back off. Pitman arm and tie rod connections wear after awhile and come into play also. Depending on your steering connection to the box you might want to check the tightness of that too. Hope this helps. I have a 4" lift on oem leafs and saginaw ps. Had 33 x 14.5 x 15's on my rig and wandererd like a lost goose. Checked everything. I put 4 degree steel caster shims in and giving it a positive caster angle helped. What did the trick was I switched my tires to 33 x 12.5 x 15's and I am using 8.5" beadlock wheels. No more wander! Problem solved after worrying myself sick. I paid $350 for the 2nd hand tires with 95% tread and $40 for the shims and well worth it.
