Used FJ60 A/C compressor (does not include the high and low side ports as I had to transfer these to the new unit) with rebuild kit and seals $100 plus shipping.
Our A/C had been working great up until last summer. At that time our A/C developed a leak that would leave us blowing hot air after 3 days.
We had the system vacuum tested and everything passed. The system was charged again with dye to detect any leaks. We found a dusting of the dye on top of the compressor but no definite source and figured it was time for a rebuild.
We purchased the rebuild kit and seals from Rock Auto…but we also found a remanufactured unit.
When we went to swap the high and low side ports to the new unit, we discovered that the O-Ring seals under the mounting plates were degraded and needed to be replaced…which we did…but we never re-installed this to test it.
So we have a used FJ60 A/C compressor without the high and low side fittings, which comes with a rebuild kit and seal kit for the system.
