Hi everyone. We recently bought a 'new' off road trailer. Long story short, 4 years ago, this French chap had this made to measure, for running supplies down to Africa to a water project he was involved in - he collected it from the manufacturers 150km from his home and put it in the barn. He was then ill, the water project collapsed, and the trailer sat in his barn since then! It was fitted with a James Baroud tent, and was a price I couldnt ignore, so bought it!

Hi folks - update time! As our work is seasonal, its been flat out but as the weather is hot, we do get the odd Sunday off now:) Anyhow, been spending any spare days tinkering with the trailer.
Fitted the twin gas bottle ages ago, nice and easy. Last weekend fitted the power cable to fit in the caravan socket on the truck, amoungst other things, this supplies a perminent live for battery charging and a switched live (from a relay in the engine bay ) to the fridge.

The power from the truck goes into the new distribution board, via a master switch (to select car/trailer battery or both) Also there is another switch bank for water pump, accummilator and new internal lights. 70l water tank and plumbing for shower head and tank fill also fitted, with no leaks (I am rather surprised)

and lastly I can use my little solar panel to keep the on board battery topped up when not in use :)

Dont worry, all cables are now tidy and not hanging around in mid air!
