sounds kinda expensive, I had my trailer for sale for $3100 including a Engel fridge, solar panel, solar battery, and almost every option this trailer has and everyone thought it was overpriced:hhmm:

Naw, we're all just cheap SOB's who wanna get the lowest price possible. If you'd stripped the goodies & sold it for $800 you would've had folks knocking down your door. Didja post it up on a Landy or Heep site?? ;)

Sometime when I'm reallllly bored I'll add up all the extras that will get it to compare to a basic Chaser from Adventure Trailer, just eyeballing it I think they are in the same ball park. And i don't think you could buy a military trailer and restore it for much less.

I thought it was priced fairly.

Yes you can! I have not added up all that I spent buying and rebuilding my M416. But, I am fairly sure that I spent less than $2000. It would have been a good deal less than 2k if I had just gone with the black Line-X instead of having it the color I wanted.

But, you need to realize that the military trailers are getting harder to find. It took me over 2 years of looking to find one in good shape and close enough to go get.

Also, this Sierra trailer is built heavier than the 1/4 ton military trailers. So it is not really over priced. Yes, it may seem high. But, you get what you are paying for.

Here are a couple of pics of my trailer. You can also check out the build through the link in my signature.

Nice Trailer!
I can see that the Siera trailer needs some tie down points for tarping. Maybe the production unit does?
The owner left this morning on a trip across Nevada on dirt roads, I'll ask him when he gets back.

I thought it was priced fairly.

The thing that puts the Chaser above some of the other trailers is its trailing arm/air bag suspension. From what I've been told by those who've seen it in action bombing down rough roads, it's the shiznit.

All other things being equal, I think most of the aftermarket trailers are quite nice.

Thats a nice little trailer and a decent price too.. It looks just like another trailer that was produced a while ago and the company went under, 4x4 trailers? I think they were in cali? The trailer looks identical, frame looks similar too.. Did any of these guys work for that company too? They made great trailers and it was a shame when they went under..

Hello,

Name is Chris and yes that is my Trailer. Thank you for all the comments on the Trailer,.
This is my first prototype I did use another trailer from a company that went out of business about 7 years ago as a basic design. I change the frame design a bit to make it stronger and changed how the assembly of the box part of the trailer.

It has been slow going on getting everything up and running. This is due to another business that I have that has been taking up all of my time.
