New Trailer Owner

Hello All,

My name is Dan and I just purchased the cutest little m416 this for pulling behind my 2007 Jeep JKU. This will enable our family of four to do 3 day weekends without the wife having to follow in the 'chase van.'

With all the great information I've found here so far, this seemed like a natural place to join for even more information. I don't have any really grand plans at the moment save for repacking the bearings and getting ready for a trip next weekend. After that I was thinking of doing a frame off rebuild to include a SOA swap to get to a 5x5 pattern to match my jeep. After that a lid. Who knows.

long terms plans are to probably strip and powder-coat the frame and sprayline the tub and then paint on a camo theme again as the boys love it. May eventually at a tent but with the boys growing, they won't fit in it anyway, so that will probably be put off into they are in college. Looking at all these threads is giving me plenty of grandiose ideas that I will never have the time to follow through with.
