New to us...06 with various small issues...

Hey Guys,

Its been a while since I have been on here. I still have my 94' 80, but this weekend I talked my girlfriend into a really nice 06' LX 470. It is in awesome condition and it has an ARB bumper already on it. I am having a couple of issues I'm hoping some of you might be able to help with.

#1- neither front turn signals work. I am getting the rapid flashing on the dash when the indicator is switched either left or right, but the signal is not flashing outside on the front. HOWEVER, the bulbs for the turn signals are lit when the headlights are turned on, they just don't flash. I have checked fuses, not the issue. I pulled the PS housing and nothing seems amiss from just eyeballing. I ran out of daylight so had to close up shop early.
- secondary issue- I stopped to buy replacement bulbs today and what was listed in the catalog is not what appears to be the proper bulb. Can anyone confirm the proper bulb for turn signals?

#2- is the bluetooth capability for the phone applicable to the stereo for music? Noting in the manual leads me to any answers.

#3- this ARB bar was missing the light inserts for each side. Any idea if I can get replacements?

LX blinkers are in bumpers. The missing lights in ARB might be them.

No streaming music. Buy a VAIS or BT45-TOY.

Thanks, Bomar. I did some more research after reading your reply and you are correct, so thanks. Does anyone have the ARB bar and can comment on installation and usage of the light kit for turn signals? I don't know which model bumper she has, but I have seen the kits from ARB for as low at $88, so that part is simple. I'd be looking for some info on wiring, if you have done this.

You can also convert the corner lamps into dual filament (parking/signal) lights. However, the LX corner lamp housing uses a smaller socket (single filament). So you either have to mod the housing (1 banana) or use LC corner lamps. Overall, I prefer to convert the corner lamps to dual filament over using the ARB amber signal lights.

Thanks for the suggestion-I'll definitely read up on it. However, my girlfriend took it back to the dealer for a couple of issues to be looked at and they can't even find the stock wiring for the turn signals. Does anyone have a photo of what the connector looks like and where it would be located?
