If your truck will stay on the streets and in the mall parking lots then the K&N might filter OK unless it messes up your MAF first.
The OEM filter is the preferred way to protect your engine.

OK, so going to exchange the air filter then toda...
TX_TLC, no im not Todo.. I moved back here to Wichita about 8 yrs ago from San DIego..
I guess I will start a new post sometime today in regards to some of the questions for upgrades I have, that I havnt found posts on.
LX_TREME, I don't think I am looking to sell the rear bumper at this time, I am more interested in fixing this thing up. Unfortunately I am looking for all Show and not to concerned with GO. That doesnt mean in 6 months I wont be bored and ready to run over lil-hondas with my rig!

Yeah it tends to hurt every now and then, especially in my back side.
Yeah my ex-wife moved back here when I was in the Corps, When I got out well needless to say you say the first part of the wife portion, and in case you missed it (EX-). Was wife at the time.....
But anyways, yeah I would love to have some information on where this chapter is, I'll bring the beer.

x3 on the oem filter, I have read a lot about guys with cummins td's that have trashed their turbos by running a k/n filter on dusty roads.
